Haidra

The city of Haidra is located in the west of Tunisia, near the Algerian border. The ruins are spread along the northern bank of Oeud Haidra, and it has a great setting in the nature around. They say it’s one of the oldest Roman cities in Africa where you find a large Byzantine fortresses. Underground baths that still, remain good shape. An Arch of Septimius Serverus, built around 195. The partially reconstructed Church of Melleus built in the 4th century. There are three Mausoleums located on nice locations.
